Needleless electrolysis is a temporary method of hair removal. This is supposed to work by grasping the hair with a pair of tweezers that is conducting an electrical current. This current is supposed to travel from the tweezers, down the hair shaft to the root area, and destroy the full growing section of the hair root. No pain they say. RESULTS: Positive - To our knowledge there are no positive effects. This method in our opinion is equivalent to tweezing, view Temporary Methods Negative - Tests were conducted at Hofstra University with Dr. Galinsky, leading a team of electrologists, physicians, and manufacturers, to discover if needleless electrolysis is valid. Hair is a poor conductor of electricity and cannot conduct enough current to destroy the target area. A report was issued by Dr. Galinsky that the no needle method was not successful, and permanent hair removal was not achieved. NOTE: For information on target area view Frequent Questions.
